PRIVACY POLICY FOR CLIENT ACCOUNTS

Bridge Marketplace, Inc hereinafter referred to as (‘‘Bridge’’) with (Registration Certificate number RC1609943) with its registered office address at Plot 34, Adebisi Ogunniyi Crescent, Lekki 1, Lagos, Nigeria, is the controller of personal data of Service providers and Clients and has appointed a Data Protection Officer (Bridge). The term "us" or "we" refers to the owner of the Bridge Platform, Bridge a private limited company, founded in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

PERSONAL DATA
DATA PROCESSED FOR CLIENTS
- Name, phone number, e-mail address of the Client. Geolocation of the Client.
- Payment information.
- Information about disputes.
- Identification data of the device on which the Bridge app has been installed.

PURPOSE OF REQUESTING DATA
- We collect and process personal data for the purpose of connecting Clients with Pros to help them negotiate for rendering and payment of commercial services.
- The purpose of Geolocation is to analyse the geographical area and give suggestions to the Clients of available service providers within their vicinity. If you do not want to disclose your geolocation to Pros when searching for an available service provider.
- Bridge app displays the photo of a Pro, name and telephone number for the client to identify and negotiate with the user for the purposes of agreeing on a fee and rendering the service requested for.
- You will receive summaries from the Bridge Service provider portal, which will include your efficiency and ratings as a service provider. Summary and ratings about Service providers are necessary to provide a reliable service to Clients.

LEGAL BASIS
Personal data is processed for the performance of the contract concluded between the Client and Pro. The prerequisite for the use of the Bridge App is the processing of Clients identification and geolocation data.
Personal data may be processed on the ground of legitimate interest in investigating and detecting fraudulent payments. Data regarding the criminal convictions and offences is processed for compliance with a legal obligation.

RECIPIENTS OF DATA
The personal data of Clients is only disclosed to Pros who has activated Bridge app; in such case, Pro will see the name, phone number and geolocation data of the Client.
After providing the service, the name and the telephone number will remain visible to the Pro for 24 hours. This is necessary to resolve any issues associated with service provision, e.g., payment dispute or forgotten or damaged goods or relating to quality of service rendered to the client.
Feedback given by Client regarding the quality of the service is anonymous and Service providers do not receive names and telephone numbers of the Client who provided rating and feedback.

RETENTION
Your personal data will be stored if you have an active Client account. If your account is closed, personal data will be deleted (according to the policies set out in this section) from the databases, unless such data is required to be retained for accounting, dispute resolution or fraud prevention purposes.
- Financial data regarding services provided to Clients will be stored for 1 year after the last service.
- Data required for accounting purposes will be stored for 7 years after the last service rendered
- If there are suspicions of a criminal offence, fraud or false information having been provided, the data will be stored for 10 years.
- In case of payment disputes, data will be retained until the claim is satisfied or the expiry date of such claims. Service history data will be stored for 10 years, after which the data will be anonymized.
- Please note that the deinstallation of the Bridge app in your device does not cause the deletion of your personal data.
- If the Bridge app has not been used for 3 years, we will notify you and ask you to confirm whether the account is still active. If no reply is received, the account will be closed and personal data will be deleted unless such data is required to be stored for accounting, dispute resolution or fraud prevention purposes.

DELETION/REMOVAL OF DATA
You should also bear in mind that any request to delete your personal data is possible only if we delete your account. As a result of that you will not be able to use the Bridge app via an account which has been deleted.
We respond to any request to delete personal data submitted by email within 24 hours and will specify the period of data deletion.

PROCESSING OF CLIENTS PERSONAL DATA
Clients may not process the personal data of Pros without the permission of Bridge. You may not contact any Pro or collect, record, store, grant access, use or cross-use the personal data provided by the Pro or accessible to you via the Bridge platform for any reason other than for the purposes of fulfilling the services.
You must comply with the rules and conditions for processing of personal data of Pros as set forth in the Privacy Policy. If you violate the requirements for the processing of personal data of Pros, we may terminate your Client account and claim damages from you.

DIRECT MARKETING
We will only use your e-mail address and/ or phone number to send direct marketing messages if you have given us permission to do so via the Bridge app. We may personalize direct marketing messages using the information how you use Bridge services (frequency of use, services frequently requested, payments).

DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Disputes relating to the processing of personal data are resolved through the Bridge customer support or by contacting Bridge’s Data Protection officer. The Regulatory authority is the Nigerian Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA)

- Name, e-mail, phone number, place of residence.
- Geolocation of Service provider
- Information about profession/vocation i.e certifications, qualifying certificates (Where necessary)
- Service providers efficiency and ratings
- Service provider’s license (If any), photo, profession and identity documents.
- Data about criminal convictions and offences.

PURPOSE OF REQUESTING DATA
- We collect and process personal data for the purpose of connecting Clients with Service providers to help them negotiate for rendering and payment of commercial services.
- The purpose of Geolocation is to analyse the geographical area and give suggestions to the Clients of available service providers within their vicinity. If you do not want to disclose your geolocation to clients as a service provider, you must close the Bridge app or indicate in the Bridge app that you are offline and currently are not providing services.
- Professional license, identity documents and criminal convictions and offences are processed to determine the compliance with the legal requirements and the suitability of pursuing a profession in the field under which you sign up for. However, some artisans and other vocational services may not require a professional license or certificate, in this case, evidence of previous jobs done maybe required.
- Bridge app displays the photo of a service provider, name and telephone number for the client to identify and negotiate with the user for the purposes of agreeing on a fee and rendering the service requested for.
